Help Provide Feedback for a Breakthrough Cough Monitoring Technology
C-mo Solutions is an innovative company that has developed a wearable cough monitor. The cough monitor provides information about a patient’s cough to a healthcare provider. C-mo is interested in understanding how well users are able to receive and carry through instructions about using the monitor.
The device testing will take place in early 2025.
Participants will receive a $100 gift card.
Location and Time:
- Site TBD – Pittsburgh Region
- The session will take about 2 hours
- Early 2025
- Morning/evening/lunch hours are available for scheduling
WE ARE SEEKING PARTICIPANTS IN THREE CATEGORIES
ADOLESCENTS/DEPENDENT ADULTS AND CAREGIVERS
Participants will be asked to complete tasks as a caregiver and/or dependent associated with wearing the device. They will be asked for feedback about how easily the device was to use during a debriefing session. Participants do not need to have a cough.
What you will be doing:
- Receive instructions about how to use device (place it on your chest / activate it / change battery)
- Perform tasks associated with wearing the device
- Provide feedback about how easy it was to follow the instructions
Are you eligible?
- Not belonging to the healthcare profession
- Lacking prior exposure to the C-mo System (test device)
- No known or suspected allergies to adhesives or hydrogels
- No medical condition that may impede the ability to participate, such as severe musculoskeletal disorders (e.g., severe scoliosis)
MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS
The testing will take place in early 2025. Participants will be asked to complete tasks associated with instructing patient participants on how to wear the device, placing the device on patient participants, and reviewing test data from a sample report.
What you will be doing:

Are you eligible?

Medical professional with more than 5 years of clinical practice

Health care provider in either pulmonology, immunoallergy, gastroenterology, pediatrics, internal medicine, or general and family medicine.
HEALTHY ADULTS
The testing will take place in early 2025. Participants will be asked to complete tasks associated with wearing the device and be asked for feedback on how easily the device was used during a debriefing session. Participants do not need to have a cough.
